Hey Welcome!

Hey this is Duncan. Welcome to my Blog! This is my very first entry so here's a little background. We live on the corner of a quiet street in Las Vegas. It has a chain link fence so I can see everything that happens in my domain. My job: Maintaining the law and order on my corner. No jogger, no walker, no horseback rider, no motorcycle, no car, and no truck gets to pass on my road without me telling them the rules, which are -Get off of my Road! Do they listen? Humph. They wave and laugh. It doesn't help that Phoebe is following me the whole time yelling after them "Wait. Come back. Pet me." So I'm 10 years old now. You won't catch me doing one handed push ups in the driveway or anything, but I'm still pretty spry. Well, it's just about nap time. Thanks for stopping by. Later, Duncan.

Hi Duncan,
It was nice to see a real picture of you. My mom has a drawn picture of you sleeping on a bone-blanket. it was on a card that your mom sent for a Howliday card. It's been on the refwigerator since she got it... and she said it's so cute she's not going to take it down. She loves your mom's art work.

Arrrrrooooo Bunkie. You are just too handsome! My she slave is wearing her Metro Bash Shirt and thinks you done a good job! Us know it is you and Phoebe who do all the work....just like Gracie did. It is nice of you to let the she slave claim the credit.

Congratulations on the coffee.....Auntie Donna's coffeeeeeee always smells so good.

Sheslave looking for Duncan's Punkin Spice coffee and can't sniff it out...Sheslave loves everything that is Pumpkin Spice..Candles, those dryed herbs that we like to sniff and snarf if we can..

Love reading your blog, you handsome furboy! Can't wait to try the Punkin Spice Coffee, too! Thanks to your mom for all of the help she gives to the homeless hounds of not only Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue, but many, many other animal rescues, too!

Congress is pushing a law that would abandon the Internet's First Amendment-a principle called Network Neutrality that prevents companies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast from deciding which Web sites work best for you-based on what site pays them the most. If the public doesn't speak up now, our elected officials will cave to a multi-million dollar lobbying campaign.

The National Animal ID program was originally designed to give the big beef
producers help in getting export markets which required disease controls. The idea is that every single livestock animal in the United States will be
identified and tagged. All livestock animal movements will be tracked, logged
and reported to the government. The benefit is to the big factory farms who
probably do need this type of regulation. They get to do single ID’s for large
groups of animals. Small farmers, pet owners and homesteaders will have to tag
and track every single animal.

There are no exceptions - even small farms that sell direct to local
consumers will be required to pay the fees and file all the paper work on all
their animals. Even horse, llama and other pet owners will be required to
participate in NAIS. Homesteaders who raise their own meat and grandma with her
one egg hen will also have to register their homes as ‘farm premises’ and obtain
a Premise ID, tag all their animals and submit all the paperwork and fees.
Absurd? Yes - There are no exceptions under the current NAIS plan. The USDA has
slipped this plan in the back door without any legislation. This is going to be
very expensive and guess who is going to pay for it in higher food prices…
